Setting Rate Limits

With Insight Goat AI, you can set rate limits for each of your agents. This feature allows you to control how much your agent can "speak" each day, making it a fantastic way to stay within your budget!

Want to know how to set it up? It’s super simple! Just follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to the Rate Limits settings by clicking on this link: Rate Limits.

  2. Once you're there, you’ll find two modes to choose from:

    • No Limit: In this mode, your agent can chat freely without restrictions! They’ll engage with everyone who interacts with them, making it perfect for high-traffic websites.

    • Daily Token Limit: Here, you can set a specific chat limit for your agent. You’ll specify the maximum number of tokens (think of tokens as your 'word budget') that the agent can use in a day.

💡 Tip: There’s also a handy "Fallback Message" feature. This is the message your agent will send if they reach their token limit for the day. You might use something like, "Sorry, I've reached my chat limit for today 😞. But don't worry, I’ll be back tomorrow, refreshed and ready to chat!"
