How to Create a Form

I’m thrilled to introduce you to one of our exciting new features—Conversational Forms! 🎉

This feature lets you design custom forms that your AI agent can use to collect data in a friendly, conversational way. Your chatbot will ask the questions, and gather responses, all while keeping the chat natural and engaging. Sounds cool, right?

Ready to create your own Conversational Form? Here’s how to do it!

Step 1: Start by Creating a Form

Log into your Insight Goat AI account and navigate to the My Forms section. If you haven’t used this feature before, it will say "No forms found." No worries, we’re about to change that! Simply click Create to begin.

Step 2: Name Your Form

In the popup, enter a name for your form, then click Create. This will open up the Form Tree Editor, where you can start building your form.

Adding Fields and Conditions

Fields are the questions your chatbot will ask, like "What’s your name?" Conditions are responses that fit your questions, which you can use to personalize the conversation further.

Let’s start by adding a question field, like "What’s your name?" Then, we can add a condition: if the answer is "John," you can have the chatbot ask a follow-up question like "How old are you, John?"

You can also add suggestions for answers, such as "Under 18" or "Above 18." Depending on the answer, your form can continue asking more tailored questions.

Customizing with Pre-Built Fields

You’re not limited to basic questions—you can also include fields for things like email addresses, dates, phone numbers, or even integrate with Google Sheets for more advanced forms.
