Understanding the Widget Interface

We’re excited to share some fantastic updates to our widget—the primary interface for your customers to interact with Insight Goat AI!

We’ve given the widget a complete makeover, featuring a fresh design, a fixed size, and a uniform background color. This will enhance the overall look and feel, providing a more polished experience for your users! 🎨

This update aims to deliver a visually appealing and interactive user experience. Here’s a quick overview of what’s new:


Logo Customization

Make the widget truly yours by adding your own business logo! You can easily adjust your logo settings by accessing the Look and Feel section.


Agent Profile Pictures

To create a more personal touch, agents can now display profile pictures! 🖼️ You can upload your agent's profile picture through the Agent Identity settings.


Quick Replies

The widget now features "Quick Replies" for efficient responses to customer queries, streamlining conversations significantly! ⚡ You can create custom quick replies via the Quick Reply Editor.


Conversational Reset

We’ve added an easily accessible conversation reset button, complete with a double-check feature to prevent accidental resets. Additional reset settings can be configured in the Reset Chat section.


Right-to-Left Language Support

We’re expanding our global reach! The widget now natively supports right-to-left languages! 🌍 You can adjust the text direction by accessing the Look and Feel settings.


Realistic Thinking Bubble

To enhance realism, we’ve introduced a “thinking” pause that simulates the agent’s thought process. This pause is dynamic, adapting to the length of the message, resulting in more natural interactions. You can toggle between realistic or robotic thinking bubbles in the Widget Behavior Settings.


Conversational GDPR Compliance

To better serve our EU customers, we’ve integrated GDPR requirements directly into conversations! Now, when a visitor sends their first message, the GDPR prompts will be part of the dialogue. You can configure GDPR settings in the GDPR Settings section.


Quick Reply Only Experience

If you prefer a streamlined interaction, you can now enable a quick-reply-only experience! This feature disables the input field, encouraging users to interact solely through quick reply buttons. Activate this setting in the Widget Behavior Settings.


Widget Browser

We’ve embedded a browser within the widget, allowing for interactive datasets such as calendars and URLs to be accessed directly inside the widget!
