Using a Temporary Access Token to Connect Your WhatsApp Account
A Temporary Access Token provides a quick and easy way to connect your WhatsApp account to Insight Goat AI. This token grants temporary access to your WhatsApp account and can be generated from the Facebook Developer dashboard.
Note: This token expires after 24 hours, so ensure you have the WhatsApp setup page in Insight Goat AI open and ready to paste the token.
Step 1: Access Your Facebook Developer Dashboard
Log in to your Facebook Developer dashboard and select your Facebook app.
Step 2: Navigate to WhatsApp Settings
Scroll down the left menu and click on WhatsApp, then select API Setup.
Step 3: Generate Your Temporary Access Token
Your Temporary Access Token will be displayed at the top of the page. If it’s about to expire, you can click Refresh to generate a new one.
Step 4: Copy and Paste the Token
Copy the Temporary Access Token and paste it into the WhatsApp setup page within Insight Goat AI.
