Getting Started with AI Training

Getting started with AI training on Insight Goat AI is an exciting journey! It’s where you teach your AI Assistant everything about your business. Ready to jump in? Let’s go! 🚀

Step 1: Access AI Training

First, access the AI Training section from the homepage, or simply click on the link available in your dashboard.

Step 2: Create Your First Training Collection

If you haven’t created any training collections yet, no worries! You’ll be prompted to create one. Just click the Create button to get started.

What’s a Collection?

Great question! A Collection is essentially a training module. By organizing your training into collections, you help your AI Assistant quickly find the right answers by browsing related content.

For example, let’s create a Pricing collection.

Step 3: Explore AI Training Options

Once you click Create, you’ll see three main sections to guide your AI Assistant’s learning:

• Q & A

• Functions

• Embeddings

Let’s break these down:

Q & A

This is a simple method where you provide a question and its answer. It’s a quick way for your assistant to understand basic context. Just click the Q & A button, fill in the fields for the question and answer, and add a reference link if needed.

Don’t forget to hit Save when you’re done!

Functions

Functions allow you to add external components like images, videos, or even calendar events. Choose the function you want to include, fill in the necessary details, and—yes, you guessed it—hit Save!

Embeddings

Embeddings let you integrate various sources like spreadsheets, documents, PDFs, or CSV files. Just select the type of embedding you want, upload your file or link, and decide whether the data should sync automatically with updates.

Once again, don’t forget to hit Save!

Step 4: Link Your Training Collection to an AI Assistant

After your training collection is complete, you can easily link it to one of your AI Assistants.
